Hi.
I just recently bought an AMD FX-9590 CPU and come to find out my old motherboard didn't support it.
I've upgraded to a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 from an ASUS M4A78T-E.

After a fresh install of Windows 7, I continually get an F4 and 7A error code BSOD.

Main Drive is 107GB OCZ-VERTEX2 3.5 ATA SSD, it is the only thing plugged in at the moment as far as hard drives.

Details of when, usually seems to interrupt me when I'm trying to do something specific like download/install something, however I've seen it do it after a clean restart as well.

I have run Memtest86 with 0 errors.

My BIOS is up to date save for a single beta update that is newer but I didn't want to go that route just yet.

I've attached the zip file that the "before you post" section had me do, along with a couple very recent dump files, including one that I believe captures a time when I had just simply opened IE after a restart.

My guess is corrupt memory after everything I've read on here, but I have no way of reading the dump files for myself as I seem to have an issue installing Windows SDK, but that's another issue for another forum...

Also, I have no idea how to fix that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Update.
Now while attempting to verify any un-updated drivers, I've reached a state of:
BSOD - Restart - Attempt to Open IE - BSOD - Restart - etc repeating.

I did update the firmware last night, after creating a boot drive as it wasn't able to update otherwise, being the OS drive.
The version I have is 1.37 for OCZ-VERTEX2, tried to do some quick research to verify that this is the most current version, and it seems to be so.

OK then, let us see any farther BSOD.

You dont need Driver Verifier at this moment. See if it BSODs in normal run.

It has BSOD'd so many times since last night, the 2 dump files I provided were from this morning. Not sure if the tool provided supplies anymore. I probably have some new dump files to provide since then.

As I typed this, it BSOD'd sitting idle, not a program running. (I'm using a laptop right now.)

Now it says a bit clearly.

Open the computer. Make it sure that the SSD is properly attached. If possible, plug it to another SATA port with a new SATA cable.

If still 0xF4 and/or 0x7A continues, replace the SSD.

I have done a fresh install on a different drive and have had no BSODs. It was something with the SSD.

You may try to RMA the SSD.
