Solved BSOD after logging on for around 2 minutes, error 0x0000008E

If tdsskiller is still open under Device\Harddisk0\DR0 ( TDSS File System ) choose delete on the drop down menu on the skip button

If its not rerun tdsskiller when found Device\Harddisk0\DR0 ( TDSS File System ) choose Delete then click Continue .

Do you have the Addition.txt file from the FRST.exe scan ? Can you upload that please

You could also run ESET online scanner once you're back on the Desktop after the tdsskiller restart

Hold down Control and click on ESET Online Scanner to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window
Click the

button
Check YES, I accept the Terms of Use.
Click the Start button.
Accept any security warnings from your browser.
Under scan settings, check "Scan Archives" and "Remove found threats"
Click Advanced settings and select the following:
° Scan potentially unwanted applications
° Scan for potentially unsafe applications
° Enable Anti-Stealth technology
ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
When the scan completes, click List Threats
Click Export, and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
Click the Back button.
Click the Finish button.

Once the scan is done . It will open up a text file copy and paste the text

Press Ctrl and A to select All of the text

Press Ctrl and C to copy the selected text

In your reply click on the message box and press Ctrl and V to Paste

Did you run TDSSKILLER again to remove \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 (TDSS File System) ? Also when you ran the FRST the first time it should of created another text file called Addition.txt . Upload that file

Do step Post #23 after you have removed \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 (TDSS File System) inside TDSSKILLER .

Yes i ran the TDSSKILLER and found 0 threats. Where should the addition.txt located? I cant seem to locate it.

When you're tdsskiller did you place a check next to Detect TDLFS File System ? Just checking cause the first time you ran tdsskiller it found something .

Addition.txt file should either be on the Flash drive or inside the C:\Frst\Logs folder

I have ran the tdskiller multiple times now to make sure I didn't mess something up. The scanner detected 0 threats. I just performed it.

Is the Addition.txt file apart of the log from the first frst scan?

Yes . Its a second log it creates after the FRST.exe scan

i think this is what you are looking for? eset scanner is in initialization also

No it isn't . The file name is Addition.txt

See if you could locate it this way .

Click on rb: button inside

type *.txt on the start menu it will look for all the files that end in .txt

If not Download a new FRST below and run it . Make sure there is a check mark next to Addition in the Optional Scan section

Drag the FRST.exe file from the Downloads folder to your Desktop

Right click on FRST.exe and choose

When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
FRST will let you know when the scan is complete and has written the FRST.txt to file
