Hi all,
For the past month or so, I have been getting "Windows recovered from an unexpected shutdown" when turning my laptop back on from hibernate/sleep. Using BluescreenView I get the DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error caused by ntoskrnl.exe. From my Googling, it seems that ntoskrnl.exe is just a catch-all for another driver misbehaving, and I can't find out which one it is.
I have updated my onboard graphics, graphics card, chipset, Wifi/ethernet, BIOS, and mousepad drivers with the most updated I could fine, but this problem is still happening. After I updated my onboard graphics + graphics card, the problem seemed to go away for a week, but now it's back. The only difference being the Caused By Address in Bluescreen view says "ntoskrnl.exe+770aa" now versus "ntoskrnl.exe+78a8a" before.
Thanks for your help.
