I'm having BSOD everytime my computer wakes up from sleep. It says windows was unable to read my disk, but western digital utility says my disk is fine from running disk test. I hope somebody can help. Thanks!

Hi.

You can try to update your chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer.

If there is a newer bios, install that too.

Try to also update these drivers - if they are unimportant to the system, uninstall them:

regi regi.sys Tue Oct 31 04:22:11 2006 <<<for WinDVD - either uninstall or update the software to latest
SFEP SFEP.sys Fri Aug 03 01:35:53 2007 << I think it's the pointing device.
tifm21 tifm21.sys Wed Jan 24 15:35:19 2007 <<< for card reader

And I also noticed you're not running the latest NVIDIA driver so try to update that as well from their site.

Hi TorrentG,

I have an OEM PC and I find it hard to check for the latest intel chipset. I have a vaio and my chipset is Intel PM965 Express. The Intel utility cannot even detect the model of my board. Can you point me to the right direction? How do I check for the latest bios too?

I have Windvd Pro 2010 installed and I don't know why I have that old regi.sys driver.

For the NVIdia driver, thats the only driver version that will make me run Bluray disc (HDCP compatible). Although the newer ones states theyre HDCP compatible my players wont detect and wont run the bluray disc.

Thanks again.
