Solved BSOD after upgrade

The green screen while playing youtube seems to be resolved. :weird:

Went into CCleaner and checked all boxes under 'system' except the last 2 which had to do with shortcuts and under 'advanced' checked all boxes except custom file folders and wipe free space. All other boxes were checked.
Went into the registry area and checked for issues, there were two, a 'rar' file I used and then deleted and another one, I forget what it was. I opted to fix those.

Earlier I had BSOD at the same approximate time with the green screens on streaming and youtube problems but that could have been a coincidence making me assume a relationship between the two which wasn't valid.

Went into youtube after using CCleaner with the above boxes checked and it worked on the previously stored songs I tried earlier.
Anyone know why? Maybe had too much stuff?

Hope this helps someone.

Well, just had another BSOD. Like last time it happened a little while after having problems with youtube.

I checked the dump files and again there wasn't one though the blue screen said it was writing one at the end of the blue screen.

The error was atikmpag.sys. The same as before.

This time was different though, I had a quicklaunch on my toolbar, it's gone!!!

Anyone have any suggestions?

I did run memtest for about 4 hours but no errors reported.
Also there were no critical errors.

Another BSOD. I've included the files this time but though the blue screen said it was going to make a dump file I couldn't find it.

This was what the blue screen said:

A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught.

Stop: C4.

I haven't run any cleaners like CCleaner.

I was able to do a hard restart and I'm on the faulty computer now.
:(

Had another crash. The file was atikmpag.sys.
There was no dump file, any suggestions would be appreciated.
The BSOD was just after logging in with no further input.

Had another crash. The file was atikmpag.sys.
This time I was logged in for awhile using IE9.
Sometimes I don't have any problems for a week or so.
Most of the things I do are consistent but it could happen after just logging in like the last time.
I checked for a dump file and the directory was empty, it is also locked.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Another BSOD.
The error was atikmpag.sys. The same as before.
This time I was in IE8 as usual but lost my preferences for google. This has happened a few times, other times I lose settings for my taskbar.
When I tried to login my keyboard was not recognized, the password I typed didn't show up.
I restarted again and installed the latest atikmpag.sys, system seems normal for now.
There was no dump file, it says it's going to write it at the end of the BSOD but doesn't.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I remember downloading a video player, could of been when the BSOD's started showing up. I had some movies in a strange format(mkv I believe).

But the errors weren't happening when playing the movies.

Finally resolved this problem, still don't know why there was no dump file though.
It's been 5 days with no BSOD with over 8 hrs a day usage. :D

I'll mark this solved. Thanks all for any suggestions given.

Seriously man, you really haven't thought to share with us your solution?

I made so many changes that I don't know which one resolved it.
Reset BIOS, reseated RAM, updated many files among a few of the things.
I didn't do one at a time, it was too slow.

I got BSOD's again later but made another thread for it.
It wasn't resolved but then the BSOD's stopped, it's been a few months now but the last thing I did with that problem was sfc /scannow IIRC.
