BSOD after waking from sleep due to drop in vcore

Hello all,

Glad to see a forum like this. Hope to learn alot.

So I have had my computer overclocked on XP 32 bit for a long time and the machine was perfectly stable.

Now I am running 7, and the machine is stable until I put it in sleep. In order for my oc to be stable I had to add +.125v to the default vcore value. So it is stable at 1.440v and that is how the machine starts up.

The problem only come about if I put the computer to sleep. When it wakes up from sleep the vcore is at 1.312v which causes the computer to bluescreen. (I'm sure it is the lack of voltage, because at a milder overclock it doesn't bluescreen it just isn't stable)

I've updated the bios to the latest one out there, have cool and quiet off. I really can't figure out why it is doing this.

I'd appreciate any help.

Hi all, I figured it's been a week so I should probably bump this thread.

I haven't uploaded the dump file because it won't blue screen until I put it under heavy load(stress testing). I know the problem is quite simply too low vcore for an unlocked chip with this type of overclock.

I can't figure out why it drops to the stock vcore upon waking from sleep when everything else remains the same. There is the same CPU muliplier, the same everything except for the cpu voltage.

Any thoughts guys, I would really prefer to be able to sleep this thing instead of having to use hibernate.

Thanks.
