Quick background - I don't use the system often, but it has important files related to a family corporation that we closed last year. I booted the system in March in order to begin working on the taxes, and received notification that automatic updates were ready to install. I decided to let the updates install before beginning work on the taxes (big mistake 
). After the update completed and system rebooted, I received the BSOD. I ran startup repair multiple times with no success. I booted into safe mode (at least that's still working) and attempted system restore - none of the restore points worked. I'm a teacher and simple didn't have the time or energy to mess with it, so we filed an extension and put it on the back burner. Now I'm back and need to get the system running.
Startup repair doesn't work - but did give me diagnosis and repair details. Most everything checked fine except for the following:
