I ran driver verifier and nothing happened all day till I turned the computer off. The next morning it was still running and a BSOD had occurred during shutdown. I kept getting a BSOD trying to boot up so I went into safe mode F8 to turn off driver verifier. Here is my BSOD report.

Okay, it seems that the driver's completion routine has not marked the IRP pending, even though the PendingReturned field has been set. The driver in question seems to be related to Sonic CD/DVD, however, is part of a few other programs too, listed here.

If you have any of the programs, then please update it or remove the program. If you don't have any of those programs, then please say so, and I'll try and find what it's related to. I've seen that driver cause the exact same problem a few times in the past.

Adobe Lightroom is on the list. I can't live without that program. Can upgrade to latest version but what do I do if that doesn't fix the issue? Should I run driver verifier after the update to see if I can get a BSOD?

Update the program, and then just use the system as you normally would. If it crashes again, then upload the new dump files, and we'll most likely run Driver Verifier again.

I'm getting the erratic mouse movement and cursor change when running lightroom 5.2 it seem to improve when I exit the program. I'm not sure but think LR works fine if I'm not running Firefox in the backround? No BSOD so far.

Ran the driver verifier as I was desperate to get a BSOD dump to move this process forward. I got an immediate BSOD on reboot. See attached.

Turned the computer off last night but didn't wait for it to shutdown. This morning it was still on, so I turned the monitor back on and moved the mouse around but nothing came up on the screen. After hitting reset to reboot I checked and there was a new dump file.

I would suggest rolling back to a few earlier WHQL versions of your nVidia graphics card driver, since it seems to be having issues with handling power related IRPs.

I uninstall the driver from device manager and had to reboot as the driver software wasn't recognizing the graphics card after the uninstall. After a reboot I told Win7 not to search for a driver and install 320.49 which is 2 versions earlier. 331.65->327.23->320.49. That is the same driver I had when I started the thread. I let you know how it goes.

Okay, thanks for the update :)

I was just thinking, the problems with the Adobe driver could have been caused by the nVidia driver's interaction.

Update:
3 weeks ago I switch from Firefox v25 to Chrome. Since then my system has been much more stable. I had one freeze early on but no BSOD for nearly 3 weeks. The research I've seem to suggest something about the hardware acceleration setting in that version of Firefox as the source of the issues.
I upgraded my computer with 2 new data HDD (not system)to increase my storage 2 days ago. Today I got a BSOD but no dump file was created. Here is a picture of the BSOD.
