Solved BSOD, Driver IRQL not or lees than equal

AS you can probaly guess, I've been getting a BSOD for the past two days. When it hits, I get he message: DRIVER NOT OR LESS THAN EQUAL< or something like that.
I also get
STOP: 0x00000001 (0x00000000010, 0x000000000002, 0x000000000000000, oxFFFFF88004A196A)

TRL85n64.sys address : FFFFF88004A0196A base at FFFFF88004897000

I've had this problem before, but can't remember how or if I fixed it.
I'm currently running Windows 7 Homw Premium.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP


We could also use some system information, which you can get easily by running msinfo32.
To do that go to start>run>type msinfo32>enter

When it is finished running go to file>save>name it and upload to us here.


You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Hey. I couldn't get the Type misinfo to upload but the dump files should be attached. Any help would be useful.

The latest crash was caused by your Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.1b/g driver which appears to be corrupt. Uninstall and re-install the drivers. You will want to download the drivers from the manufacturer's site for the wireless device you have in your system before uninstalling the device. Then do the following steps:

• Now that you have downloaded the latest Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.1b/g package, here are the steps to install it so it sticks and actually updates the drivers for the device.
  
  1. Click Start Menu
  2. Right Click My Computer/Computer
  3. Click Manage
  4. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
  5. Expand Network adapters
  6. Right click the Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.1b/g network device
  7. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
  8. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device and hit OK
  9. Do not restart your computer
  10. Install the downloaded driver for the Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.1b/g network device.
  
  Alternatively:
  1. Login as an adminstrative user.
  2. Click Start Menu
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Click Hardware and Sound
  5. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
  6. Expand Network adapters
  7. Right click the Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.1b/g network device
  8. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
  9. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device and hit OK
  10. Do not restart your computer
  11. Install the downloaded driver for the Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.1b/g network device.

Older versions of ASACPI.SYS are a known BSOD problem on Windows 7. Update the driver by:

1. Going to the Asus motherboard support site
   When you reach the website:
2. Scroll down the page and click Utilities
3. Hold Ctrl and press f (ctrl+f) to enter the browser's find feature
4. Search for "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Win7 32&64-bit" (without quotes)
5. Download and install the driver.
6. After installation is complete, verify that it installed correctly.
   • Click Start Menu
   • Click My Computer
   • Go to C:\WIndows\System32\drivers\
   • Verify that the ASACPI.SYS file is dated 2009 or newer (2010,etc.)

Install all Windows updates. I do not see Service Pack 1 installed, and some Windows drivers are out of date that will be updated through updates. If you are unable to get Service Pack 1 through updates:

Thanks zigzag3143 and writhziden. I've updated the realtek (I think), the asus motherboard and am running the windows updates now. I'll let you know if I crash again, which hopefully I won't. Thanks for the help.
