Hi guys I've been getting fairly frequent BSOD's while playing Starcraft 2. It started happening a few days ago while i had Windows 8 Pro x64 installed on my HD. I've had Windows 7 for years now and after troubleshooting Starcraft itself and then re installing windows 8 to no avail i re installed windows 7 hoping it would fix it. So today i installed 7 then downloaded and installed Kaspersky then got my drivers then installed Starcraft and then in the middle of my second game i got a BSOD and i didnt manage to see which error code it was but i have the dump file and everything. I'm thinking my hard drive is on its way out because lately its been making it's accessing data noise every couple seconds and sometimes when its idling for an extended period of time it starts working hard like I'm starting up or installing something and when i am installing something its working noise is a lot louder than it used to be. Its an old Hitachi 640gb drive. I'm hoping to get some second opinions and some feedback before i buy another HD and then have the same problem.
