I've had my fair share of issues with this built computer. The last recorded bsod I had was in October 2012. Since then no others have appeared for me to attach... till today! :D

My computer screen blacks out even though desktop is still "on" and sounds running. There hasn't been any unique pattern to when it decides to blackout on me. Sometimes i'll be on chrome on social networking sites (facebook, tumblr, linkedin) or youtube. One time I was listening to music, the screen blacked out but the song continued to play till the end. It did not continue to a new song in playlist however.

Other times it'll go out when I'm on skype or playing games like League of Legends or World of Warcraft. I'll go through periods where computer will be fine for like 3 weeks, then it'll black out 4 times in one day for a couple of consecutive days. Sometimes a windows update will effect it.

Eventviewer tells me the following errors (no clue if any has relevance):
  • -The server {E579AB5F-1CC4-44B4-BED9-DE0991FF0623} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
  • -Name resolution for the name (random website here) timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
  • -Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0
  • -Session "Microsoft Security Client OOBE" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D
  • -Activation context generation failed for "c:\program files (x86)\spybot - search & destroy\DelZip179.dll".Error in manifest or policy file "c:\program files (x86)\spybot - search & destroy\DelZip179.dll" on line 8. The value "*" of attribute "language" in element "assemblyIdentity" is invalid.
  • -The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
  • VDiskBus

As usual please see the attached minidump file. Your help is greatly appreciated!
