Solved BSOD dxgkrnl.sys+5d134

Built this PC in Oct '14, had initial BSOD which turned out to be faulty RAM.
As far as i can tell it started again after a GPU driver update, rolling back didn't fix.
It only happened while playing BF4, but then started happening at random times, watching YouTube, booting up. It happened last week while doing a windows update, which caused me to Black Screen and I had to to roll back to a January back up.
This past few days its just gotten ridiculous, have to reboot 3-4 times in a game. Sometimes I might get to play without a crash, rare though.

Just downloaded Furmark stress test and it crashed twice about 10-15 secs into the test.

Your dumps are confirming what I expected after reading your post, they're all 0x116s which point to a problem with your GPU. The fact that it's crashing in FurMark isn't a good sign. Firstly have you monitored your temperatures while the card is under load? If not we'll need that to rule out overheating.

Secondly download the latest driver for your card from here and follow NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems for the cleanest possible install. Give that a whirl and see what happens, I'm doubtful that this will solve the issue but at least it will rule out drivers.

Get back to me with the temperatures and report back about stability with the new driver and we'll go from there. I've a feeling at this point that the card may be bad but we'll work through and see what we can do.

Hey Boozad, thanks for reply.
I have the latest driver installed as it is, I always use DDU to do a clean install.
I've been monitoring my temps with GPU-Z since it started crashing and the card has never gone over 73 degrees, which is perfectly fine I think from what I've read.

*Edit - Just ran FurMark for 60 secs GPU, OpenGL and OpenCL database

Ran it again for just over 10 mins, temp maxed out at 72 degrees.

*UPDATE*

After weeks of crashes, normally starting after a few hours. I decided to time how long it took to crash from 1st boot up of the day....6 minutes. A new record. :mad2:

Had enough I manually shut it down and opened it up. Removed and re-sat the GPU, moved the RAM from slots 1 & 3 to 2 & 4.
Hasn't crashed in 3 days.
