I have FRESHLY installed window's 7 32-bit on my computer because of a recent problem with a BSOD. After a fresh install, I'm getting blue screen's which I can't really pin down to any certain activity. It's all random and has no pattern. Sometime's in Google Chrome, some times browsing files on my computer. I've installed all updates including drivers for board chipsets and all, run all system checks and nothing has seemed to help the issue. I've been reading a lot about this on the internet and have not managed to find any information that is any help at all.

This is a system that I built from scratch and did all the setup myself. I'm not new to computers and I've done all I can to troubleshoot the problem on my own, however it has reached the extent of my skills and it's to the point now that I require help.

UPDATE.

I was playing NFS Shift a few min ago, screen went black and when it came back it looked like this. ALSO, I exited the game and it continued with this problem in Windows. Had to restart to stabilize the system.

I just installed new mobo and video driver's from NVidia so hopefully that helps.
Also, DirectX 11 is bundled with Window's 7, correct? So it couldn't be out of date unless I'm missing an update. However I have all my updates installed.

Specs are updated as well.

When you do a clean install of windows only a part of DirectX is installed you need to go on the web and download the latest DirectX witch also has updates and fixes.

Hi,
Is that 9600gt new or from another build?
dxgmms1.sys can be caused by heat problems, is your cards fan working properly? That screenshot sort of pushes my analysis towards the gpus fan.

Also might try raising the voltage on your system ram just a hair (staying within specs) in the bios.
Setting your pagefile a little bigger has been known to stabilize this also.
Overclocking cpu will cause this also, very slight voltage increase might stabilize.
You probably did, but is your bios up to date?
This error affects both ATI & Nvidia.

I hadn't thought about that. Where can I get updated files? I havn't seen anywhere on Microsoft.com that I can download any DirectX files.

The 9600GT is a new card that I purchased a few months ago new. I had been having all kinds of problems with NVidia cards dying on my and screwing up my OS so I figured I'd try spending a little more money on a card and maybe it wouldn't kill my system. I can try doing all of that. I was considering a few of your suggestions there from the beginning, but I wasn't sure if they would have an effect. My bios is the original bios from when I bought the board.

The GPU temp was also a concern for some time. It would run around 50C before, so I'm using the Zotac FireStorm software designed for GPU overclocking and such to over ride my fan speed to 100% all the time. It's at around 43C at idle now.
