Many of us on the forums actually do not recommend automated optimization tools for Windows 7. Windows 7 does a much better job of handling its own optimization than its predecessors did. We especially do not recommend registry cleaning as an "optimization" step because automated registry cleaning causes more harm to the registry than it actually repairs.

In the future, if you need help optimizing Windows 7, please post a thread in Performance & Maintenance - Windows 7 Forums or follow the tutorial enclosed in that forum to http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ws-7-a.html?filter[2]=Performance Maintenance.

Hello again,
How do I update my webcam?
It is an integrated cam to my monitor. It's a Dell SX2210 Monitor.

And, I don't know if I have done this right, but I changed PxHlpa64.sys to PxHlpa64.BAK

You still have the drivers from 2009 that both I and writhziden told you (including a link from where to get the newer ones) to update.

Until you do, and you upload any further DMP files we have no new information to go on.

I am truly sorry if I don't quite understand, as english is not my 1st language.

I have updated the drivers:

wsimdx.sys AR5005G row, windows 7 64-bit column, click on the blue check mark to get the driver.
CtClsFlt.sys
LHidFilt.Sys
LMouFilt.Sys
LUsbFilt.Sys
PxHlpa64.sys

I have a problem with updating the ATHEROS driver which caused the adapter to stop working
How do I repair this/get it to work again.

Regards,
Christian

Now we wait for it to crash. If it does upload the DMP's to us.

go to device manager (start>search>type device manager)

Find the device and un-install the driver for it. Reboot

When the BSOD happened about an hour ago when I started Dell Webcam Central, the Blue Screen said something about OA002Ufd.sys Stop error, when I restarted computer, I went to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and I found that those 2 drivers are back (OA002Afx.sys;OA002Ufd.sys)

I also use BlueScreenView to see the information that was on the BSOD (I know it's not very accurate, but still...) and it said: Caused by Driver: OA002Ufd.sys

I am a big fan of Nir Sofer's work, BUT blueScreenView more often than not, doesn't point out the correct causes. Similarly Who crashed is even worse.

I prefer to use WinDbg (the Windows Debugging Tools) to read the memory dumps. It is the Gold standard for those of us that do this and often will give us the answer by itself. (we don't need the full jcgriff2 report each time).

I think I know what the problem is: There are 2 files in Minidump, the Carshreport might have taken the older .dmp

I somehow cannot upload the .dmp files itself though

Its not that simple. You can google the winDbg links but it uses symbols to translate and there are about 50,000 of them for just win 7 and 8. On my HD they are over 5 gigs,
'

Then there is an really steep learning curve.
