BSOD Every game, Error 0x0000007A & 0x000000F4

For some time i have had problems with Bsod's.
recently it has gotten worse, and i get them multiple times a day.

A few days ago i installed some windows updates, and it changed the error code from 0x0000007A to 0x000000F4.
I have not been able to get a minidump file as it fails every time.

I have some screenshots attached, with the old and new bsod, but i am clueless to what is causing them.

Any help is appreciated.

That is the problem. It only makes the folder when it makes the first minidump file, but when i get the bsod it fails to create the dump file.

There are a few things that could cause no dump to be produced, 2 of them are below.

Diagnostic Test

 RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Diagnostics Test

 HDD TEST

Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use - Windows 7 Help Forums
Run following tests

1. Short Drive Self Test
2. Short generic
3. Long generic

If the short generic fails, no need for the long generic.

   Note

Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.

Run chkdsk
Disk Check - Windows 7 Help Forums

Run HDTune to

• scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
• check the health,
• benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
Let me know what the results are

• of the error scan,
• make a screenshot of the health of every hard drive and post the screenshots,
• post screenshots with the benchmark of the
  • transfer rate,
  • access time,
  • burst rate,
  • cpu usage.

Hi Mads672g.

You need to do what is stated by axe0 in post #10. The bugcheck codes are giving a prima facie impression (it cannot be said with a reasonable degree of certainty without checking the dump files) that the issue is being caused by the storage device, HDD or SSD.

From your specs, it is appearing that the computer is a laptop, a Hp Pavilion m6 one. So most possibly you dont know what storage device is included there with certainty, the details of the make and model. But you can let us know it by upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

How to Create a System Information File in Windows.

Though Seatools (as suggested by axe0) works for any brand of the HDDs, it is better to know which one this is.

I know it sounds stupid, but i dont have an empty CD or a memory stick to run the RAM test...
I ran the short generic test in Seatools, with no errors, currently running the long generic test and after that ill run the HD Tune error scan and the chkdsk

I don't think that will be possible without making a new installation of windows

Not off top of my head, but i have the information yes.

You can also just flip over the laptop and there should be a sticker with the make and model.
