BSOD Going INTO Sleep Mode

To keep it short;

I receive a BSOD when I go into Sleep Mode sometimes. It's almost random, but it's not. ie. Like when I'm working on it for a long period of time. I've noticed an issue when I started using Daemon tools, it was almost instantaneously.

Windows 7
x86 (but in the Computer Props it says 64-bit OS)
406 of 586 GB used
6 GB RAM
System purchased in 2009 w/ OS installed

First, you gave away the answer - daemon tools.

sptd.sys

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done:

I need to correct myself. I DO NOT have Daemon Tools. I do remember installing it following my first BSOD from it. But I still receive them; Most recently this morning/afternoon. I'm uninstalling Virtual Clone Drive. I've been using PowerISO for creating slots, and I had that BEFORE the BSOD's.

What is the duplex secure for?

And HOW do I update my drivers?

Okay,

Either you do OR did have a CD virtualization program, which has left the file "sptd.sys". You will need to remove the virtualization program if it is still there. In either even, you will still need to run the program I indicated to remove the "sptd.sys" file.

Your motherboard is incorrectly indicated. In fact, the M2N-E SLI is Asus (I know, as I previously had one).

For the video driver, you will need to go to this link:

Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

where you can specify your card or autodetect it. I think you can also get your NForce driver from there as well.

Searched for sptd.sys and found nothing. Any other advice? And what was that link you sent me before; http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads

No.

You are not to search for sptd.sys. You need to run "SPTD for Windows XP/2003/Vista/Windows 7 (64 bit)" because SPTD.SYS was indicated in your dmp file.

If you don't want to take this advice, that's fine.

If you don't want to download the new drivers, that's fine.

But you will be stuck with your BSODs.

Make sure you have this particular hotfix installed as well, as it fixes a myriad of sleep and hibernate issues with Windows 7 (and 2008 R2) post-SP1:
Hibernation does not work or memory dump file is not created after you install Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1

@Lemur I don't want you to feel I'm not listening. I just don't know terms, or how to do much of anything in this area. I updated my NVIDIA drivers (talk about an instant update. My screens are CLEAR now, haha) I updated my SPTD via. that link you sent me. And as for the M-Audio issue; Any idea what can be done of it to fix it? I've always had the 'issue' per say, but I never felt it affected anything. I receive a popup when I turn the computer on and that's it.

@cluberti When I try to install it/update it, it gives me a popup stating it's not applicable.
