Solved BSOD help

That's good news, and good temps.

Sounds low for the CPU/NB voltage, but if it's running stable then it's good.
If your system is stable there is no need to update the BIOS.

If you get any more crashes, let us know.

Run it normally for a week or two and let us know the status, then we can mark the thread as Solved this may help others with the same issues.

Ok. Will do. Thanks to everyone that helped me with this. I'll just leave the BIOS then, since there aren't any problems.

Thank you for your help

Ok guys, it's been a week and everything is looking good. I felt that the system was stable enough to mark this as solved, so that I could go ahead and setup a RAID configuration on it. I want to give yall some +rep, so Thank You to CarlTR6, Dwarf, and Dave76 for your help, and anyone else that may be helping behind the scenes. Some of the problem items appeared to be Symantec Endpoint Protection, VLC media player, Asacpi driver, VIA HD audio driver, and bad RAM seating.

For a quick reference to anyone that has the same problem (see post http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/127665-bsod-help-4.html#post1150721), update:
Asacip.sys from ASUS website for the mobo (file name ATK0110 under Utilities)
VIA HD Audio driver from VIA website

The problem drivers were the Asacip.sys and the VIA HD audio drivers. The OLD Asacpi.sys file installs automatically with Windows Update if you have it set to download and install automatically. The only way I could remove it was by doing a clean install and not connecting to the Internet until I had installed the Asacpi.sys driver.

Tips: Keep Windows update set to just notify you when updates are available, but you have to choose what to download and install. Also, don't use the Windows Update version of drivers for the ATI Radeon 4890, they are outdated too (like August of 2010). Just use the display driver from ATI directly.

Sorry that you had another crash. The dump is a 1A bugcheck code, Memory Management. Something was not right with the memory. Your RAID controllers are out of date. Win 7 is pretty finicky about RAID. Update these two drivers. The dump indicates that ahcix64s.sys was involved in the crash.

After I update those drivers, should I go ahead and run a memtest+86 on all modules?

Well, on start-up, I got another BSOD. I went ahead and downloaded and installed the programs from AMD to update the ACHI and RAID as well as the SB. I looked in the drivers folder and it still looks like the same "old" drivers are there. Here is a new JC Griff after the drivers were supposed to be updated. Let me know if they actually did or not, thanks.

If you want to adjust the RAM voltages, try the CPU/NB at 1.0v, change the Command Rate (CR) to 2T, and run memtest with all four cards installed.

Are all the DRAM Timing settings still in 'Auto'?
Manually set the first four timings and the Command Rate as per your CPUZ JEDEC#3 settings, this is the same settings as shown in the CPUZ Memory tab. Leave the rest on auto. Setting them manually can make the system more stable as they won't fluctuate.
Do this before the above test.

You have already tested each card in each slot this shows that all mobo slots are good and all RAM cards are good.

Standard disclaimer: when memtest86+ passes even several times doesn't mean it won't have errors the next test, this is just a fact for electronics.
I think you can move past the single RAM card tests, for now, and test all cards with these voltage changes.

Let us know if you want to pursue this.

I manually deleted the drivers this time. Ran the programs again, but no new versions are there. I have checked AMD and the ASUS website for the drivers and they are both providing me the ones from 2009 for both of those. I manually copied the drivers over this time, after running the programs. Let me know if they are updated. Also, if there is an easier way for me to provide you a list of the drivers, instead of uploading the JC Griff, let me know and i can do that until they show updated.

Dave76, I think I am going to wait on making changes to the RAM voltages for now. At least until I get the drivers updated, and then if I have more problems after that, I will manually adjust the RAM. Yes, everything is still on auto.

If they did not update, they may be all right. They are Vista drivers and some Vista drivers work well with Win 7. You can get a list of all your drivers by
Typing cmd in search
Then in cmd type driverquery

At this point, since I can't find any newer drivers, I am going to download the newest BIOS and flash that and I will also make the RAM changes that were recommended. I'll plan on doing that this weekend, so I have more time to tinker if something goes wrong.

Here is another dump I got after updating the BIOS but before I made changes to the RAM settings in the BIOS. I have included my new RAM settings from the BIOS so yall can see everything.

I am going to run memtest tonight.

Edit: See post #78 for dump files.

I didn't get to run a memtest last night. I forgot. I'll set it up to run in just a few minutes. I got another BSOD today and it looks like an IRQL_not_less_than_or_equal. The last three dumps have been different. Let me know what they mean. Thanks.

Also, today I Windows Desktop Manager stopped working randomly and everything became disabled and then about 5 minutes later everything went back to normal, but would not function. Weird....

That's not good, have you ran the HDD checking tools from Seagate and WD?

I think this might have something to do with the drivers but, checking the HDDs will verify it.

Recently, no. I did around mid December. I'll run the tools again for both after I finish the memtest. I did run Spinrite 6.0 at the beginning of January on the Seagate. I don't remember what the results were anymore. Would it be better to run the Seatools and WD software or spinrite?

Edit: My memtest results are clean after 12 passes.
