BSOD Help

So, now I'm guessing I have those Silicone Image driver files for no reason, and evidently there is a driver conflict, but I'm confused why this is acting up now I haven't made any hardware changes recently, and as far as I know, I have never used the Silicon Image drivers.
I went in to my bios and have disabled my SI SATA controller
Please enable them again and update the drivers. Here is the link to the Silicon image drivers:

As far as I know, you are using Window 7 64 bit, download the correct package. One thing you can do is to go to C partition-->Windows-->System32-->Driver, look for these driver, change their name to .bak, then unrar all the files in the driver package to Drivers folder:

I misread the driver number lol, either way doesn't matter.

@Tuan, you sir are a legend in your own right for helping me, but alas this is the same driver set I already have.

Ok, but how did you update it? I said in my previous post that you must change the name of old drivers before copying new version in to drivers folder

I just followed your instructions in your previous post, including changing the SI SATAII controller back on, and windows failed to start so I disabled the SI controller again and used system recovery to fix Windows, ho hum.

I would hazard a guess now that the SI drivers are not at fault. Windows doesn't find any updates for them and ASUS don't support any drivers younger than the ones I have. Its also safe to say I didn't have that driver set for a reason lol.

Hey buddy
RapportMgmtSer, I bet this is part of a secure AV free program right? It was running at the time your computer crash, please uninstall it completely for testing. Go to control panel-->program and feature to uninstall it
Code:

I got my hopes up with this one, my loading time decreased massively, but no, at the 10-15 min mark there was another BSOD. New Error though.

Please re-install directx again along with video driver, the minidump blame dxgmms1.sys, I have seen directx issue with video card driver. So please re-install both. Also, please Window update. Have you remove completely the free Rapport security AV software???
Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime
Also, scan the whole computer for malware:
Malwarebytes
Also, do a system file check:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html
Code:
BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff88010b97c06, fffff880041936d8, fffff88004192f40}

Probably caused by : dxgmms1.sys ( dxgmms1!VIDMM_GLOBAL::PrepareDmaBuffer+172 )

Followup: MachineOwner
---------
I would also suggest you to run memtest86 for at least 7 passes again, one stick on different slot each time!!! the exception code fffffc000005 in the minidump suggest it might be the case

There aren't anyway's of uninstalling Direct X, I wanted to try this already as I already have the most up to date version of direct X.

I also have the latest NVidia Drivers, because of this problem, the first thing I tried were to update DirectX and graphics drivers.

I ran anti virus/spyware/malware after the drivers not working, but I'm doing it again just in case. (Avast, A(squared), and Malwarebytes)

I'm running the /scannow as I type this, and the first thing I do when I finish will be to run memtest again I'm going to try and leave it for at least 10 passes

Sorry Tuan, its 6am and I haven't slept yet, for burrowing through the internet looking for a fix to this.

Yes, Rapport is gone.

Removing A(squared) and Avast now. Installing MSE as we speak.

And the scan now completed with no trouble;

FurMark Ran my GPU to over 115 degrees C, so I switched it off, I dont want it to blow a hole in the side of my case lol.

I just ran DiRT2 which I have as a STEAM game, that sets up DirexctX specifically for each game, and low and behold a crash 15 min in. Dump is attached, but now I know for sure its all games.

I'm going to run this CPU stress tester (StressCPU v2.0) and see what that does to my machine, hopefully that will reveal some new info. Folding@home - DownloadUtils

Either war I'm off for now.

Seems Tuan had you doing it, I was going to suggest FurMark.

Because your crashing pretty steadily at 10-15 minutes, I might guess this is a heat issue with your GPU or CPU.
See if you can run FurMark for 60 seconds (set it to benchmark).
Then try running Prime95 Blend Test for a few hours.
If either one crashes you, it COULD be a heat issue.

Right, I ran the CPU stress tester this morning, and it BSOD'd my computer within 5 min. I haven't set up the debugging yet so I don't know what it says.

@ Lordbob, I ran FurMark and it passed the benchmarks at all levels of MSAA, its as I left it for a while as a stability test, and after 30 min it was at 115 degrees.

TheFrin, this DEFINITELY shows that something is wrong with the CPU. If you didn't test with Prime95, give it a try please. It can usually help pinpoint the problem.
