Few days ago when i updated my gpu driver to 359.00 i got some error after update, but i didnt pay any attention to it. Then i tried to play AC: Syndicate and game crashed. I restarted game and it crashed again.

I tried to play Evil within and that crashed too.

Sometimes i get BSOD when game crashes, sometimes first game crashes and then few minutes later i get BSOD even if i dont do anything.

I rerolled drivers back to 358.59 and tried again. Same stuff games crashes and i get bsod. Before updates i didnt have any issues. I played syndicate & Evil within without any crashes. First bsod and crash was right after i updated drivers to 359.00

Later i updated back to 359.00 and today i updated to 359.06. Tried Syndicate and got bsod. Then i tried to play Nazi army trilogy.. same stuff crash and bsod.

So now i cannot play any games it seems.

Im using gtx780 OC

I didn't say the bypasses are the cause ;)

They only prevent us from helping, run the dm log collector again and upload the zip.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

  1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
  2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
    • Double click the executable to open it
    • Click on the button shown below

34700d1440923396-bsod-0x124-whea_uncorrectable_error-nothing-works-a887c9d9e7.png

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Please remove Gigabyte software, it is known for causing bluescreens.

Following drivers have been flagged, but I am very suspicious about Daemon tools.
Please remove Daemon tools and Gigabyte software and let me know how it goes.
If the bluescreens keep occuring, let me know and we'll work from there :)

I had gigabyte's software & daemon whole time on this windows. And i didnt update any of em rescently. They has been same for long time and i didnt have any bsods while playing games. Sure there was couple bsods, but not much.
Now i get bsod every time i try to play game. Only thing that has rescently changed was update to nvidia drivers.

Before updating drivers i played all games fine without any bsod. So i dont think that its daemon or gigabyte. As you can see this windows was installed in 2014. And both gigabyte & daemon were installed then too.

So why after 2 years they would suddenly start crashing?

It has to be either gpu drivers or some windows update. Because nothing else has been changed. No software updates no new hardware... nothing.

Also i got microsoft redistr c++ error when i tried to update drivers via geforce experience. It autoinstalls everything. So after installing (clean install) new drivers i got that c++ error. It installed drivers anyways. So i reeinstalled em manually. They installed fine without errors, but that didnt remove bsods.

Daemon tools uses various unstable drivers, it is the reason why it could cause crashes in windows 7, especially the sptd driver is very unstable.
Gigabyte software is known for causing bluescreens, especially blue screens that are specific for hardware.

It isn't the case that something has to built up in time, a problem could occur out of nowhere.
It happens a lot that a system runs fine for a long time and suddenly a crash occurs.

Removed gigabyte & daemon. Rebooted pc. Tried to play. No changes. After some time playing i either get BSOD or game crashes.

EDIT:

Added last bsod dump. Also had 2 non bsod crashes while playing games.
Run memtest86. No errors.
Will run later 3dmark to see will i get bsod / crash during that test.

Run the dm log collector again and upload the zip.

I suggest you try above for providing the required data when you have had another bluescreen and want to upload a new zip.

I have tested a bit when i had time and crashing / BSOD problem occurs only with dx10 or dx11 games.
I can play dx9 games without any problems. But if i try to play dx10 or dx11 game, game will crash. Sometimes it will be just crash sometims BSOD.

I tried newest nvidia drivers, re rolled to old ones, reinstalled dx. Nothing seems to work.

Simply because it is currently causing bluescreens.

It is only for the time of troubleshooting, after your system is stable again you can install it again :)

What crash do you mean exactly?
  • Freeze crash, with this crash nothing happens whatever one is trying
  • Sudden shutdown/restart crash
  • Bluescreen crash

I mean freeze crash. I play dx11 game. After X amount of minutes i get freeze crash and message [program X has stopped working]. Sometimes i get BSOD sometimes only game freezes + crashes. All my rescent BSOD's had been caused during playing games.

So i play game, do stuffs, then game just freezes. If it lets me ctrl+alt+del i can exit and shut down game. Sometimes game freezes and i cannot do anything so i wat several seconds and get BSOD. Sometimes i get insta BSOD. Sometimes game freezes and pc just reboots. No logs no BSOD, but after pc reboots i get message that pc has just recovered from unexpected shutdown. Or what that message was.. Same message as i get after BSOD. Except it doesent add anything to logs.

EDIT: what i mean is that i get all 3 of your example crashes.
