So I upgraded to Win 7 and seem to get blue screens wile i am trying to play games, it doesn't seem to be fussy as to which game it is, be it MW2, dragonage, crysis etc
as far as i can tell i have installed the most up to date drivers i can find for the graphics card mobo & sound card and updated DirectX

reboots offering safemode and gives me the dumpfiles on log on, stuck the .dmp and .xml docs in a .rar as the uploader wouldn't let me upload them as they were
if anyone can help it would be appreciated as i have trawled the internet with no great success.

may be a noobie idea and may just be throwing money at it but if its running out of memory for whatever reason would sticking another 4GB in solve the problem?

Hi. These drivers are old and need to be removed from the system or updated to 2009 versions:

secdrv secdrv.SYS Wed Sep 13 09:18:38 2006 <<<<seen this one all day today with bsod
gdrv gdrv.sys Sat Oct 13 03:22:00 2007
ctac32k ctac32k.sys Wed Jul 02 04:38:22 2008
adfs adfs.SYS Thu Jun 26 16:52:37 2008
PxHlpa64 PxHlpa64.sys Mon Dec 10 18:49:01 2007

If you upgraded this machine, I strongly suggest a clean install instead.

Whatever game this if for - "iw4sp.exe" - see if there's a patch available for it.

Use the device manager to uninstall. You probably will have to set it to view hidden devices and look at the non plug and play section.

Google them to find out what they are first.

If you can't figure out which they are in the device manager, set a restore point and then delete the files themselves in safe mode.

Had a poke around in bios, found that it was auto overclocked and set on "turbo" switched it back to standard and was able to play for a couple of hours with out any issues.
