I got this right after I close a game. What's the maximum temperature a notebook can handle anyway?

Yes temps to high can give you a BSOD and shut down your computer. That why in my opinion laptops are not good for heavy gaming. They can't dissipate the extra heat very well. Their isn't much you can do to a loptop/notebook to improve the removal of the extra heat. Their are many who will disagree with me but oh well.

They are very high temperatures, I only looked at the current temperature readings and not the Min and Max

101'C is very hot, it's pushing the limits to the region in which the computer will shut down itself down; overheating can damage your hardware. Have you cleaned the inside of the case and used a can of compressed air?

I'll try to clean the computer and find some external fan to cool the computer. Is this the problem with my BSOD? It never happen before but just recently.

Overheating can cause BSODs, clean the computer and the fans, have you got a cooling pad?

Just bought a cooling pad, cleaned the PC, reinstalled graphic driver, disabled a lot of start up programmes. So far the idle temp is around 45c-55c, watching video is 60c-70c, playing games is really high at 85c-95c.

Is my BSOD possibly caused by high temperature? I'm trying to keep it this way and see if the BSOD happen again. All the BSOD are the same cause except 1, and that was when I enabled the verifier.

Well I'm playing Hearts of Iron - Their Finest Hour, Garena League of Legends, Diablo 3, Starcraft II. I don't usually get the BSOD when I'm playing. I usually get it few seconds right after I start some task like opening Firefox, downloading videos/finished downloading videos, opening speedfan etc.

I had ATI mobility 4570 driver for as long as I can remember. Then as suggested I went to the ATI website and found 4500/5100 series driver and updated it along with my BIOS. After that I clicked check for update and it changed back to the old driver. I had about 3 BSOD from then until today. Then I just reinstall the graphic driver today to the 4500/5100 series and clean up my computer and purchased a cooling pad. So far I don't have any BSOD yet.

Let me know if there's anything tests you want me to redo.

I did a SFC/scannow and I got a corrupted file. What does it mean?

Run sfc /scannow 3 times with a reboot between each one. If you still have corrupt giles it can't fix you have to do a clean or repair install.

I would try doing a Repair Install, if the corrupted files can't be repaired, since it will preserve your current files and programs.

I did clean installation and few days later I get the same problem. I did sfc/scannow 3 times and I got a problem. Could that be caused by the BSOD?

I tried to reinstall again and check sfc scannow. When it starts dell local backup updated something and I left it does it's job. Then it restarted computer. Right after the dell logo finished loading nothing happen. I tried to boot from cd using winxP and it gave me BSOD acpi.sys something. I'm posting my phone at the moment. Im clueless what to do now..
