Hi,
Recently my pc has started to get quite a few BSODs, and it seems to be getting more and more common.
It crashed yesterday and really messed up my PC, in trying to fix it I ran a system restore back to the 24th.

I left it on overnight and looked at my logs, it seemed to crash and reboot 4 times within a few hours!

Attached are the dump files.

Hello and welcome Reverate mate I think the problem is a pile of driver errors from what I can see but I am going to find out more before saying what to do. But just in case have you got all your data up to date because you know what I am going to say next:(

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to run these the first two in safe mode if possible.

I've run everything, Malwarebytes and ADW Cleaner didn't find any Malware on my PC. SuperAntiSpyware found 3 Critical Threats and 117 tracking objects. CheckDisk didn't seem to find anything. sfc /scannow only seems to undo the patches from Universal Theme Patcher. (I don't suppose this would be causing an issue?)
I do have anything particularly important backed up, but Windows is installed on a separate drive to my documents.

Ok looking at the dump files there are some refs to driver issues see this Windows DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error. now it and other Googles do not specify just what drivers but I would be looking at the chipset and any hardware you have installed.

Now while I am thinking of it this might be worth looking at because the power source in either desktop and laptops can be and is very often overlooked and underrated as a cause of computer failure. It takes a couple of minutes to run and at least it will eliminate a cause from that source. If you want to send pics then use this it is very easy and quick to use How to Use the Snipping Tool in Vista ir says Vista but works as well in 7

I'm a little confused by your last post. I'd be happy to test the power source and send pictures but I'm not sure how. You mentioned it taking "a couple of minutes to run" but didn't actually link me anything to run!

Sorry my mistake Rev I usually send instructions on testing the power supplies for desktops then realized yours is a laptop:o hence my badly worded post. I should have said just run a test on the output of the power adaptor as the HW Info program I usually suggest doesn't show up voltages etc for laptops, whereas for desktops it shows up all the different rails. Sorry again mate for the wonky post.

Now you can run this for the other components and is a handy program to have around btu it is your choice HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download all we need to know is that the power adaptor block is up to scratch with volts.
I have attached a pic of an example of it in use on my laptop.
Again I think the dump files from what I can make of them is down to driver issues but we need to get help on that as I am not that accomplished at reading them yet.

So, after a long line of e-mails between me and pc-specialist, they reckon it's a faulty GPU. Arranged to send the laptop off in a week and fingers crossed get it all sorted. Thanks for the help though

Ok well hope it all goes well keep us updated and if it is fixed mark as solved. If not test out that PSU it is a most underrated component when looking for faults in fact it still would not hurt to test the rail voltages about takes but a couple of minutes and Scott Mueller rates problems with it as high as 50%.

Also that HW Info program is just really good at getting in depth details about any component.
