"DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" BSOD after using Farbar Recovery Tool

Good evening all,

I recently received a "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" BSOD after running the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool. I downloaded the Recovery Scan Tool to fix an issue that I was having with Internet Explorer 11 to where it wouldn't let me download any files (likely due to a previous malware infection). The good news out of all of this is that my download issue with IE 11 does seem to be fixed now. However, I have a feeling that the Recovery Scan Tool may have caused the BSOD being that this happened shortly after it corrected my issue with IE 11. I have uploaded the appropriate dump file for analysis. Any assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Hello axe0,

Thank you for the info. I should specify that I share my system with a few other people. Upon running the tool again, it appears that the minidump file(s) in question were recently deleted without my knowledge, probably by the Disk Cleanup tool which is run semi-frequently for "good housekeeping" purposes.

In any case, not long after I posted this question, I discovered that my NVIDIA driver was out of date which may have been the source behind my recent BSOD. Ever since then, my system has been running smoothly. Therefore, I will mark this issue as solved. Thank you again for the quick reply. :)
