Okay, least your computer has frozen as of yet and let's hope it doesn't, have you checked for any driver updates for your USB mouse or tried using the trackpad on your laptop?

I had one freeze last night after 3 or 4 hours of nothing. Just powered on computer today, i still think its a problem with my GPU as it will be at 84 celcius whilst I'm browsing on the internet. Just powered it on and its already at 60 celcius, will see how long it takes to get up to 84 just browsing.

Well, the freezing is some likely to be caused by overheating, something is either blocking the vents inside the case or the fans are not working correctly.

Well i did a little cooling mod to my laptop which is the Asus G60vx, it had a fake vent that i made into a real vent on the bottom and it seems to have done the trick, I am idling at 60 celcius now. Will post back if I encounter another freeze.

Okay that's good to know :)

Just curious, why was it a fake vent?
