I have 7 64-Bit and often when I boot my pc It says that " windows desktop manager has stopped working and closed ". Sometimes I get bluescreen when I get to desktop. Today I started my pc and It said Loading windows and then came black background and only the cursor showing, and then It said that computer won't start or something. When windows tried to find solution to this and chose the return thing It crashed and caused me a BSOD. Here is the dmp file.

Hi and welcome

this crash was probably caused by your video driver atimkdag.sys. You also have several drivers that need to be updated.

I would uninstall the current driver then install a fresh one.

I would also run a system file check
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow

About those mobo updates, what should I update? Chipset drivers? There are lots of different things like audio, lan, utilities etc.. And my audio is up to date, no newer version there than mine =)

your video card from your specs is Club 3D HD4890 SUPER OC . I just googled it and you dont need to uninstall it first. just google Club 3D HD4890 SUPER OC drivers. Pick the correct one (either 32bit or 64). download it and install it

EDIT: here is the link for downloading the driver. ATI Radeon HD 4890 Catalyst Software Suite driver v.9.5 download for Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows 7 64-bit

About that link, is that the 9.5 catalyst version? 10.1 is the newest and now I've been used the 9.12, so I'll download the 10.1 now?
