Solved BSoD, new computer, 0x0000001a and 0x00000019

I have recently built a computer running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and after a few days of use, began to receive BSoD's with the error code 0x0000001a. I have tried replacing the hard drive and PSU, to no avail. The motherboard was also sent back to be replaced, not helping either. I have spent a while browsing the forum, however have found nothing useful to my problem. Also, I began receiving the 0x00000019 error. Attached are the files from the SF Diag Tool. I am unsure as to whether it includes information on both BSoD, I will try and get a hold of the other necessary files if they are not attached now. Thanks.

Can you update your Graphics Driver atikmdag.sys: Wed Apr 20 02:53:29 2011 (4DAE3C99)

Also can you uninstall / remove completely all the Asus Software, AISuite etc

Another BSoD. 0x0000001a. If it's any help, it occurred just before I was going to install a game from a disk, Unreal Tournament 3.

Hello.
I have had 1 BSoD since I last posted, it's another 0x000001a. I have updated the graphics driver, I believe it's called Catalyst. I have removed all of the Asus software from it. I believe the most recent BSoD was identical to the one before it, however I can post that one up if it helps.

I have shut down my computer normally since the last BSoD, I'm not sure if this affects the dump. I ran the SF Diagnostic Tool 5 minutes ago, with the attached file being the output.

Another BSoD. 0X0000001A. Also, I forgot to mention, after uninstalling the Asus AI Suite II, whilst rebooting received this message:

Us3rnam3, you are having the problems due to memory. Most probably RAM, but there is is a fair chance of the GFX Card memory, too.

Have ran FurMark: I spotted no artifacts, the temperature became steady after 1:15 (m:s) at 75'c and after 5 minutes was at 80'c. I will run Memtest86+ now and send you the results ASAP.

Hello again. Upon finishing the first pass with Memtest86+, (Or perhaps second pass, I'm not sure whether it starts at 1 or 0) Memtest86+ found 87552 errors. I couldn't spot a way of relaying you all the information from the program, but with that many errors I guess it's pretty evidential. Where should I go from here? I suspect I'll need new RAM, but I'd like that to be the very last resort.

Something I thought might be helpful to know: I have had no Blue Screens since running MemTest86+. I don't know if the BSoDs relate in anyway to (in terms of affecting their frequency) MemTest86+, however the problem appears to be fixed. I will post again in a weeks time if there are still no BSoDs, or if there is one. Whichever comes first.

Speak of the devil; there was one literally as I shut the Seven Forums page. However, the Blue Screen occurred at exactly the same time as the installation of Unreal Tournament 3 as it did the last time. I cannot recall if the same thing has happened the other times. Perhaps it is the disc / the optical drive? I have been able to play it before on this computer, before the first Blue Screens had occurred it installed fine as well as running well and was removed after the hard drive was formatted.

As your problem was occurring due to some memory related causes, Memtest worked. I aslo suggested you Furmark, coz it might be graphics memory too.

EDIT: so you got another BSOD? Post the Dumps again then.

As usual, you are getting bugcheck 50 and bugcheck 3B. Both are indicating to either main memory (RAM) or Graphics memory/Driver. As I am seeing, your ATI driver a bit old. You may try to upgrade it.

As Furmark and Memtest both have taken, do it as a further try.

First uninstall the existing one in safe mode. Then install the latest version and see it it works or not. I would suggest you to not install the Catalyst Control Center, only to install the Display Driver.
