Hi Everyone,

I got an HP laptop in September and have had a problems with the system fan within a month. Got the battery replaced for the fan and now I'm having a number of BSOD's. From watching videos online, startup and shutdown, to installing updates. They are happening everywhere.

Best Buy told me to do a completely erase everything. So I used the OEM / system recovery on the laptop and started off fresh, but I'm still getting same BSOD's.

I purchased a new laptop in hopes of selling this one, however, my new one was stolen yesterday. So, I'm back to trying to work with this one and figuring out the BSOD's

HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook
AMD A8-3500M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.50 GHz
6GB Memory
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I've attached the BSOD's. There are quite a number of them ranging from October, none in November (because using other laptop), then the most recent BSOD's today.

Thanks for any help.

You uploaded the application instead of the data. Please try this method instead.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Well, the laptop was working fine last night... until I shut down. Got another BSOD during shut down.

Related to you CCC.exe. I would remove and re-install just the driver.
