Hello Gentelman and I thank you all in advance,

New PC, and I'm getting BSOD randomly when the computer is idleing followed by a restart, before 11th of Dec there used to be 5 or 6 restarts a day, but after that time I updated windows 7 and now I'm getting 1 or 2 a day.

I ran memtest for a 7 pass test and showed no errors, any help would be highly appreciated.

My Windows 7 is . . . - x64 - Ultimate installed by myself. - Full retail version. - What is the age of system (hardware)? 1 month old. - What is the age of OS installation ? 1 month old.

Thank you VERY much Gianni, it's good to know at least what's wrong, once I updated Windows through windows update, I thought it would have installed SP1 for me, oh well, I will download and install SP1 and report back.

Thanks again.

Just an update Gianni, it's been 4 days now and not a single blue screen, SP1 and the updates did the trick.

Thanks again.
