I'm trying to install a USB printer driver (HP Photosmart C4200) for my Sony Vaio (VPCYB15KX) and everytime I connect the usb plug and wait for autodetect/ install, the machine BSODs.

The machine had installed the drivers before though they weren't working recently. I removed the previous installations but the printers were still showing up so I had to run "printui /s /t2" to remove it manually there. I wonder if it has something to do with a non-clean removal of the previous drivers somehow.

Any insight or suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated! :D I've attached the dump files below.

Hello Jpixel, welcome to SF!

You need to goto sony.com or AMD for the download of the latest chipset for your mobo. That should update the faulty usbfilter.sys.
AMD.com | Support & Downloads

You also have an older driver that might be related: sxuptp.sys (2007)
Check here for newest? Silex Support & Downloads

Just to be sure also check:
Please go to your Maintenance Center and check the Windows Update status. Make sure you are up to date, do them one by one manually if needed.
