New Builder / New Machine

I just built a new x79 computer and it will NEVER wake from sleep without getting a BSOD.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1000007e
BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
BCP2: FFFFF880156AC4FE
BCP3: FFFFF88006F20F28
BCP4: FFFFF88006F20780
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Someone over at ASUS took a look at a minidump file and said it was nvlddmkm.sys from the Nvidia driver. They recommended updating drivers...

I have since tried both the GTX670 drivers from the install disc as well as the newest drivers from Nvidia's website with no results. I have also reinstalled Win 7 with no results.

The machine has no problems booting up and is running fine. I just can't SLEEP.

It's not the biggest problem in the world, but after spending loads of cash I want this thing to work properly. It's also driving my OCD thru the roof!

Any help would be appreciated...and lower my blood pressure. Minidump is attached. Thanks!

Try going to start > Type in the search bar "Advanced system settings" Then hit enter. Under Performance, click "Settings" > Advanced > Click "change" Under virtual memory.

Uncheck the "Automatically adjust..." Checbox up the top of the window.
Then select Custom size and set the initial size to something like 4596, and maximum 8000.

A number of work laptops Blue Screened upon wake up and I fixed most of them that way. If no luck, just set it back to automatic etc.

Worth a shot anyhow.
