BSOD playing Assetto Corsa - previous nVidia driver issues

Hi,

A few weeks ago I started getting the Nvidia kernel mode driver crash when doing particularly taxing things like photo editing/gaming. As per some advice online, I updated the drivers to the latest version and also tried this 'registry fix': Fix: NVIDIA Kernel Mode Driver Crash - Appuals.com

After that for a short while it seemed ok, even doing the same stuff I had before.

However the other day I started playing Assetto Corsa through Steam (same settings as always and I've played the game for years). In the menus everything was fine, but upon loading into the actual game the computer froze and restarted, then showing a BSOD.

I can boot up fine in Safe Mode but every time I try to boot up normally it results in the same BSOD. Startup repair won't fix it.

Some advice elsewhere online suggested I should try switching to AHCI mode. I followed these instructions (GUIDE - Enabling AHCI mode AFTER Windows 7 Installation | guru3D Forums) and performed the process but it made no difference. The drivers installed and everything how they should but I still get a BSOD when I try a normal boot up.

Attached is the log zip file.

If anyone can offer any help with this I'd be very grateful, as I'm clueless now as to how to sort this! I assume it must be driver related but not sure of the best way forward.
