Thank you very much for your help, I have located the Polunnot file and changed it to .bak so hopefully that will work. I have deleted Daemon and Alcohol 120 wasn't on my comp. I was already using MagicDisc.
With regards to the drivers sorry for my ignorance but how do I determine which ones are missing? Is this the ones in your reply like winbondcir.sys etc excluding the Polunnot.sys file?
Again thanks for your help, total newbie to this if I am honest.
Chrs
These were caused by the Polunnot.sys driver, but I cannot find any reference to it in google. that makes me suspicious.
I would find it and rename it to polunnot.bak to prevent it from launching. If it is used in some app that app will complain.
I also noticed you have many old drivers that urgently need to b e updated.

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

You also have a file that is a huge cause of BSOD's called sptd.sys. Its used in alcohol120 and daemon tools
Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.
They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.
