Solved BSOD possibly from videos/images

I know, searching the model gave me irrelevant results and I usually am somehow unable to use the search features on the sites of the vendor.

Search this text, "Intel Wireless LAN (11bgn)", that is likely the best for your laptop.

There are ultimately only 2 drivers that support your wifi adapter.

alright found it on the list of drivers and installed it without too much problems, just a minor delay remembering what the security key was.

double checked the driver itself and i believe i had 13.0, and this is like 13.4. checked for driver updates, and it says it's up to date like it did before. so i'll give it a couple days and we'll see if this fixes the blue screen or not.

thank you very much for your help axe0. it's going to be very funny if it turns out this was all i needed to stop the blue screens! fingers crossed.

well it's been a while, and i've spent the past 2-3 days watching youtube videos, and doing searches at the same time. no BSOD. so i guess that fixed it!

just a recap for anyone who is having this same issue, yup, if you have a lenovo laptop, use this link https://download.lenovo.com/eol/ and find your particular model, and install the wireless lan driver. if you had the same issue i did with your driver causing issues, it does seem it will fix it.

again my thanks to the people who offered their advice and time with my problem. i'm relieved it's fixed! now i can keep this laptop for a couple more years until i can find a new one to upgrade to for better hardware.
