BSOD Possibly LoL Related; ntkrnlmp.exe

Hey All,

My brother recently talked me into downloading League of Legends, and ever since then my computer has been giving me BSODs like crazy. The first few were only while the LoL download was running, then more came when the installer was going. I decided to give up on it, but he talked me into uninstalling and deleting files and trying again. The download completed without any problems the second time, but the installer has given me BSOD multiple times. However, since then I've received a BSOD while trying to do a driver update and another while just browsing the internet. I'm generally extremely virus conscious so I try to stay away from anything that seems dangerous, but LoL apparently uses something called Pando Media Booster with its downloads to allow P2P downloading, so I guess that's another possible problem. Diagnostic tool results are attached. Thanks in advance. I've browsed these forums before and you guys that help out are all awesome.

I had a look at your crash dumps, they are all 0xE1 stops. indicating that it is a driver at fault, but it does not say which one:

So on that note I would Like you to enable Driver Verifier and then once you get another BSOD post back with the new crash dump(s). Here is a tutorial on how to enable and disable Driver Verifier:

Driver Verifier -Enable and Disable

WARNING:warn: If you can not boot into Windows normaly after enabling Driver Verifier boot into Safe Mode and then disable Driver verifier from safe mode before rebooting.

Thanks for the reply. Since starting the driver verifier a few hours ago, I haven't experienced any BSODs, but I have had three hard locks that have required a manual shut down. I'm not sure if there is anything we can infer from this or not, but I have now disabled the verifier and everything seems to be running fine. Would you recommend that I try the verifier again now?

Give it a shot, hopefully this time we will get a blue screen and some new crash dumps that we can analyze for you.

Your problem is McAfee/ Plus running 2 antiviruses would cause conflicts.

McAfee is a frequent cause of BSOD-s, please uninstall it with the McAfee Removal Tool and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials

• How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR)

Perform a System File Check:

1. Click on the start rb:
2. Type CMD on Search
3. Left click and Run as Administrator
4. Type SFC /scannow
