BSOD so now and then since I installed windows 7

Ever since I installed windows 7 in September 2012 I get BSOD's so now and than.
It starts to drive me crazy.
It doesn't happen very often, but a lot of times it is frustrating (losing document I just typed, losing online poker hand etc).

Can anybody help me, I am clueless with these things.
I uploaded the zipfile with dumpfiles like in tutorial of this forum.

Hello GovtMule and welcome to the forums, I took a look through your files and a few things stuck out at me first It appears that your BSODs are being caused by two things: Avira, and your Intel display driver

So please remove Avira using the Avira Removal tool, and replace it with MSE And Mbam. Tip when installing Mbam be sure to uncheck the box offering to start a free trial.

Next Update your Intel display driver from here:Intel Download Center


Once thoes things are done please run the system file checker to ensure that nothing has become corrupted:

SFC.EXE /SCANNOW
Go to Start and type in "cmd.exe" (without the quotes)
At the top of the search box, right click on the cmd.exe and select "Run as adminstrator"
In the black window that opens, type "SFC.EXE /SCANNOW" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
Let the program run and post back what it says when it's done.

Okay I downloaded and installed MSE and MBAM.
I used the update tool on intel.com. And it said it has an update for my graphics driver.
It also says it has an update for my Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility (Chipset INF). Shall I install that new driver too?

It is always a good Idea to keep your drivers up to date.

Well did everything, ran SFC scan. Everything seems to be in order according to that scan.
I Hope the BSOD's will stop now.

Sadly today I got an BSOD again.

Please Run memtest86+ for at least 8 passes:

RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Tip: do this over night it can take quite some time.

No errors found.

OK please run through this tutorial to check for a failing hard drive:

Hard Drive Diagnostic Procedure

and then check for malware using these tools:

Windows Defender Offline
Tdsskiller

I did do the harddisk check, no errors found.

Windows defender and tdsskiller I still need to do.
I have to go to another computer, but been ill (cold/flu) this week and stuff.

As a side note, when I look in 'bluescreenview' It keeps saying at almost all crashes that it was caused by NTOSKRNL.EXE . Is this something worth noticing?

No, Ntoskrnl Is the core of the operating system, it is being blamed because either some driver or some piece of the hardware is running at kernel level and asking the operating system to do something it shouldn't, then when it trys to execute what ever code it is being asked too it is blamed for the problem.

Both Windows Defender and TDSSKiller found 0 threats.

I kind of expected that, as my computer crashes so now and than, since the first day I installed windows 7.

Could you upload a fresh copy of the files from the SF diagnostics tool please? While you are doing that I'm going to reach out and see IF I can get another set of eyes on the problem

OK since we are not seeing any real causes being pinpointed I am going to have you run driver verifier:

If you can not boot normally after enabling driver verifier please boot into safe mode by pressing the F8 key before the windows logo appears, then disable driver verifier from safe mode.

I just enabled driver verifier 10 minutes ago, nothing has happened yet.
What do I do now? Just wait?

Wait for a full 24 hours if no crash occurs with Driver verifier enabled we can go from there.
