BSOD so now and then since I installed windows 7

As it is 61 degrees without any load, it will increase rapidly at load. Better you follow the rest part of post #36 right now.

I will get it tomorrow.

Also when cleaning my computer in general is it a good idea to blow with one of those cans of pressed air?

Kind of weird though its a hardware problem.
I started having problems when I installed windows 7.
I never had BSOD's when I has XP.
So I thought all the time it must be a software problem.

ok guys. I couldn't find the cleaning stuff. so I used some small alcohol based cleaning towels, but not heavily, just a little bit, and then kitchen paper. I hope that is not a problem.

I applied paste. But i think some paste has fallen of to the side and fell inside, not much, but a bit, will this cause problems?

It seems when I look in speedfan temparatures gotten lower.

Only thing that is still really hot is AUX, what is that, it is still like 92 celcius.

It is good that the CPU temperature is reduced by a great lot.

Personally I have no concept about AUX and how it works. But I can say that the temp you are reporting is unhealthy. You need to get it checked.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

When 8 passes are over, take a camera snapshot and upload it here.

If memtest comes free from errors, enable driver verifier. Use the PC normally with Verifier on. Run it for at least 24 next hours.

If you get any further BSOD, inform us following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions only. Not like this and this post. Its very tiring to guide you through the BSOD posting instructions every single time.

And if the issue is an issue to you, take it seriously. If you get such a lag, the continuation of thought breaks.

One single error/red line is enough to rule out the RAM as bad.

Now follow Part 3: If You Have Errors: of the tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html .

Errors/red lines means one or more RAM is faulty. But the fault may occur due to a faulty DIMM slot, too, which is a motherboard component. Using memtest86+, you can discriminate between a faulty RAM and a faulty motherboard.

How? Say you have two RAM sticks and two DIMM slots. You obtained errors at the test with all RAM sticks installed. Now, remove all the sticks but one. Test it in all the available slots, one by one. Continue the same procedure for all the available sticks.
How to make the inference that is it a RAM issue or it is a motherboard issue? Suppose you have got the result like that:

test|Slot1|Slot2
RAM1| Error | Error
RAM2|Good|Good

It is a RAM, a bad RAM.

But if you have got a result like that:

test|Slot1|Slot2
RAM1| Error |Good
RAM2| Error |Good

It is a motherboard issue. The particular slot is bad.

passes is not necessarily to be done. If a single red line appears, stop the test.

there are 4 slots, 2 blue ones, 2 black ones.

The two ram sticks were in the 2 blue ones.

I tried testing one stick in slot #1 (a black one), my monitor wouldn't get no signal.
Now I tried one stick in slot #2 (a blue one), and my monitor works again.

So what are these black slots?
Should I test them too? I don't know how.
It didn't even sound like my computer started up normally, didn't hear the windows sound, so I think that is the reason monitor didn't get signal.

If possible, test all of them, but dont test them mixing (one black and one blue together). If mixed ( one black- one blue) it will be shifter to single channel mode.

Very nice. It makes it clear that the RAM 1 is faulty. Not the board.

Now, either get a stick of equal size and FSB of RAM 2, or (the better option is) to get a new kit of two.
