Hello,

Did you make any recent changes to your system; such as, download software or add new hardware?

Have you tried System Restore?

Is the mouse wired or wireless?

Have you tested the mouse on a different computer?

Have you tried a Clean Boot?

John

Hi John!

Thanks for the quick response. I noticed I several drivers out of date including the video driver. Im hoping that was the case I'll let you know when I am finished.

I have a wired and wireless mice and they both work on my laptop, but not on the desktop. Im having problems with them on the desktop, Im using the laptop now.

The last thing I did was try to update my drivers with slim drivers. I thought it was a safe program to check and update my drivers with.

If the updates don't work I'll try clean boot or system restore... not sure yet.

EDIT: 1200am(EST)

atikmpag.sys BSOD appeared during the video driver reinstall. It is starting to seem like it is something with my video card. Will attempt a second reinstall of driver.

System is really jacked up atm. I hope I attached the SF Diag Tool info correctly. I uninstalled and reinstalled the videodriver and got the same BSOD. Reccomended course of action?

PS- Yes, I did a clean boot. Nothing happened.

EDIT:

After a third attempt of uninstall reinstall of video driver I got it uninstalled, upon reninstall it failed and im stuck there the driver updater says Ive the latest on the system but it's not on the uninstall list.
