Hi guys,

I have tried to search in the forum for the same symptoms, but it seems my problem is different from the others.. even some of the hotfix recommended for them are not applicable for me.
Anyway, I really hope that someone can help me pinpoint what is the problem I actually have here...

Whenever I try to put the computer on sleep mode or hibernation mode, it will turn black and then stay for quite some time, then it just shutdown..
When I turn it back on, it says that there is a BSOD (I forgot to screencapture the message detail given, let me know if it's needed)

I have attached here the zip file from the SF Diagnostic Tool as instructed.

Since my zip file is more than 8MB, I have to split it into 2 files..
eddix.zip contains the most of the files needed
eddix2.zip contains old .dmp files

Thanks in advance..

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% (and 52%) and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Alcohol 120% (and 52%) at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

  • Double click to open it.
  • Click this button only:
  • 2012-12-13_224441.jpg
  • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
Uninstall McAfee Using McAfee Removal Tool.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Now, we are seeing that the SecuRemote Miniport (c:\windows\system32\drivers\fw.sys) is causing some issues there.
Code:
8356e09c 9b0c0c8cUnable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\fw.sys, Win32 error 0n2

*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for fw.sys

It is a ZoneAlarm Driver, used in Kaspersky too.

We need to see how it is running without Kaspersky. Uninstall Kaspersky using Kaspersky Removal Tool. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Let us know the results.
