Hey,
Recently my laptops been getting a BSoD when i try and do simple things, such as when i start Steam it will BSoD or even just watching Netflix. The error message i receive changes and is either that it stopped to prevent loss of Data or is 'KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR'.
I've already tried a few things ie chkdsk , however i dont know how to check my dump file to figure out the exact root of my problem. When i try and attach my .dmp and XML documents about the crash it says i dont have administrative permissions to open the file...even though im on an admin account
Thanks in advance
Jack

All of your dumps bar one are 0x7A and are pointing towards your hard drive having problems.
Code:
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff6fc400063d0, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: ffffffffc000009d, error status (normally i/o status code)
Arg3: 0000000010508860, current process (virtual address for lock type 3, or PTE)
Arg4: fffff88000c7a93c, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE address)

I installed it and ran the Short Drive Self Test, it says the test failed.
It passed the Short Generic
Long Generic is still running will post when it completes
As mentioned before i have run chkdsk, and it seems not to have worked.

I'd start backing up your data and look into getting the hard drive replaced.

In fitting fashion my laptop got a BSoD halfway through that Long test, going to look into getting a new laptop, its annoying because this will be the laptops third hard drive...feels like im keeping it on life support and maybe in the long run it would be cheaper to bite the bullet and buy a new laptop.
