3-4 months ago i changed the RAM in my PC from 4gb to 8gb, and i've been experiencing BSOD and computer freeze efter since when playing some different games.
Typically it happens when i play Steam games like Dota 2, CSS or other games launched from Steam. It crashes differ from time to time. Sometimes i can play without having any crashes for 30minutes to an hour, and other times it happens 5 minutes after i've entered the game. I must point out that this doesnt only happen when i play steam games, it also happens when playing other games.
Also i've been experiencing that my computer freezes without going into BSOD whenever i happen to download a patch / update from a launcher - example WoW updater. Whenever i try to update the game through that updater, my computer freezes immediately.
Please help me out.
