Hi All,
My machine is getting a BSOD when put into sleep mode. To make matters worse, no Minidump files are being written when the BSOD occurs. Here's all the info I can get from the event log:

I just yesterday installed all new RAM and ran memtest86, so that's not the problem. Also ran chkdsk today, and my drives are fine. I even did a system restore to before the BSOD started happening, with no luck. The machine runs pretty smoothly for the most part (some lagging here and there), but this BSOD on sleep issue is driving me nuts.
Anybody have any ideas as to where I could find other error logs or anything to help diagnose the problem? Or should I just run a repair install of Windows 7?
Thanks for any help!
Garrett

You may need to configure your control panel to create DMP's

See the snip

Now next time it BSOD's try this

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the appropriate section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

Hi All,
Zigzag - Ive tried several times, but the machine will not write a dump file upon BSOD. Been through several articles and so far, no luck with getting a minidump output.

Maurice - I have a 250gb drive as my main, which has the Windows 7 install. Also a 1TB as the secondary drive.
I ran both through chkdsk and both checked out as A-OK.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks!
Garrett
