BSOD When Shutting Down

These past couple of weeks I would notice that my USB driver failed to work when I plugged something in (flash drive, printer, etc...) and when I went to restart it, it would go to the shutdown screen and stay there for about 10-15 minutes, then show the BSOD, indicating a POWER_STATE_DRIVER_FAILURE.

Can someone help me with this please?

Welcome

The BSODs were caused by Kaspersky and your network Driver.

Either replace Kaspersky with MSE or get the latest version of Kasperky. (But first test MSE and see if the problem goes away)

Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:-

• Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows
• Malwarebytes - The Free version

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

Drivers to be reinstalled
Driver Reference Table
Delete remnants of driver using Driver Sweeper
