I'm running Windows seven since a few weeks without any problem. Except since two days my computer will restart upon several hours on sleep after a BSOD. Anyone could tell me why is it happening?
Thank you very much, I just did and rebooted right away
Now I have another problem and no idea if it's related : my logon screen change from ultimate to orion (and I sure did nothing for that) and aero is desactivated.
i'm quite clueless...
Thank you again I just did update the drivers and rebooted. I'll see after a sleep mode if it fixed the BSOD problem. Unfortunately my aero is still disabled and logon screen still blue (compared to the red one i had before)
Just ran the aero troubleshooting and it tells me (in french though, therefore sorry if my translation isn't accurate) that the Windows Manager isn't enabled.
Also running atm the sfc scannow, will post the results as soon as I have them
That's because you downloaded and installed a "found" copy of Windows that is laced with malware and generally not good at all. Only install from Microsoft official sources. I'd get that copy of Windows off my machine as soon as possible if I were you, while formatting the HDD.
Well my boyfriend did upgraded my xp version so I could switch to a 64 bit system but I wasn't suspecting it would be flawed or totally unlegit actually. How could I check this?
I guess if it's the problem i'm good to be back to my xp.
Well apparently everything seems fine. So i'll ask him when he'll get back home.
I'm gonna abuse your patience again, but if I have to reinstall an OS i'd much rather continue to use Seven as I appreciate the speed and efficiency but I don't want to keep a malware running on my comp. Is there a way I can order and download it from microsoft so I can install it right away without any delay ?
