G'day Guys,
Have just re-assembled a computer from parts I had, it works fine except when it wakes up from sleep, all I ever get is the BSOD, consequently I don't let the HDD power down.
Would appreciate some help with this
Thanks and Regards
Bob

Uninstall the installed display driver using Display Driver Uninstaller. Then install the CCC 14.4 WHQL only.

When done, Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us. Also let us know if you have experienced any crash/BSOD and/or artifacts during the test.

Let us know the results.

Hi,
what I fogot to mention, to pre-occupied with the BSOD. Initially my Graphics card was a Gigabyte (NVIDIA) GV-N76G256D-RH, which after wake up gave me a frozen screen with faded color and fragmented white lines through it. Thought it must be the Graphics card, so installed a new Gigabyte AMD Radion HD 5450 1024Mb DDR3, but I now get the BSOD from wake up.
Thanks and Regards
Bob

metro5053, something is very wrong there. It could just be a bad Furmark download or install or a graphics card problem. It should look like this. Your card is not rendering what's there. Look at your FPS, and Average FPS. They are pretty close to mine. The difference is you have a HD5450 and I have a GTX 980 Classified. That isn't possible.

Go into your BIOS. See what the values are for your +12V, +5V and +3.3V. Unless you have a driver from some other piece of software conflicting with your graphics drivers, Graphics card problems are either the driver, the Card, the motherboard or the PSU.

I'm not sure which Gigabyte board you have, but if you have another PCIe X16 slot, try it. Please update your system specs as much as you can. Include the Manufacturer and Model. These are the instructions I usually give. maybe they will help you. You did a much better job on system specs than most do.

Please fill out your System Specs

   Information
Your System Specs will help us to help you, and doing it in this manner will make them available to all helpers in every post and keep us from hunting for them. We ask that you fill them out in as much detail as possible including Desktop or Laptop, Model number if it is an OEM computer and all components with the Manufacturer and Model number if possible.

If you will go to your last post and click the 'System Specs' in the bottom left of the post, you will find a link to update your system specs. Please fill those out in as much detail as possible, making sure to click save at the bottom of the page. If you would like to know what we would like, you can click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post to see mine. If you do not know what your components are, this will help you accomplish this task. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

See if you can find a friend who will help you out or swap cards with your other computer and see what happens. Please go into BIOS and give me the values of your +12V, +5V and +3.3V.
