Hey there, I use Windows 7 build 7000 x64 and I just noticed that no matter what program I use to encode my videos with or render them. I seem to getting a BSOD. I am the first one to be faced with this problem? And does anyone have a suggestion how to fix this?

Encoding fine here, although I'm using 32bit. Just checking, but you do have all proper codecs installed?

That might be the issue as I installed all stuff I used on a 32 bit system. Don't if those codecs also have a 64bit specific version.

ps. I used those codecs just fine on my windows xp :)

Whats the BSOD code? You can find it under Event-Viewer ;)

Still having bsod, might be because that pack doesn't include encoding codecs. :(

What is the BSOD code so I can find the cause? :sarc:

Forgot it -,- Don't feel like purposefully crashing it now as I'm copyinhg something :P

Is there some kind of log where I can check it out?

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xfffffa8002cbb038, 0x00000000b6632000, 0x0000000000000135). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 012109-22765-01.

This what I could find :/

I had it again a few times. It's really annoying, I searched it up and I read something about nvidia or my sound not being right. So what is it?

Hi jeffro, have you used any cracks or patches to remove the watermark or send feedback?

What sort of encoding are you doing, is it something like converting AVI to DVD?
Have you tried ConvertXtoDVD, I ask because I have it and I can confirm if it's happening to me.

Recorded a video of ingame footage in fraps after that use it in sony vegas and render it. I also tried Windows Movie Maker and Adobe After Effects, all result in bsod even though its at different times.

Heres the BSOD Infomation, your getting the very first check condition listed... Bug Check 0x124: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

What application are you using to encode, Ill go check it out and see why its causing the fail-safe WHEA exception (BSOD)...It shouldn't be causing a BSOD because codecs are executed in user-mode so its something the application does differently from the others and something it shouldn't be doing at all, ever.

I have the feeling its caused by the application your using to encode, Its either using a system driver or system component in illegal methods, It should be reported and fixed asap because its bad application programming by the developer

It can also be because my cpu is slightly overclocked. Never had problems before in XP but as I said it happens totally random.
