Solved BSOD while watching videos online

Hello, i have run memory test for 9 and a half passes and no errors.

So, with gigabyte software removed so far i've watched live streams for around 2 hours while not using my computer (the usual cause of my bsod) and all seems fine. I dont want to jinx it so i will keep monitoring it, i will leave my computer on during the night from wednesday to thursday so it stays idle for the night and see if i come back to any bsod when i wake up. Dont want to do it tonight as it has been running for a while now, including the memory test.

I will post an update on Thursday after the night test and of course i will update the thread asap if i get any bsod before then (today or tomorrow).

Hello again, just giving a quick update as promised. I have been monitoring the PC past few days and left it running last night and had no bsod so far. I guess i can assume it is gone and i guess it was due to the crappy gigabyte software. However i find it weird that the error was suggesting a hardware issue.

Anyway, thank you very much Boozad for your time and help, i really appreciate it.

The Gigabyte crapware could have been affecting hardware performance, the system would see something was wrong and close the machine down to protect it and record a STOP 0x124 in the process.

I'm glad your issue seems to be resolved, if and when you're confident it is please could you mark the thread as solved? You can always mark it unsolved if the need arises in future, which hopefully it won't! Happy computing, and don't hesitate to come back to us with any future issues.
