Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help me, recently my computer has been playing up quite a bit and by recently I mean the last few months.

I have random blue screens all stating different errors such as :

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

After some investigation on the internet and a memory testing program (MEMTEST86) I came to believe these problems may be ram related, I had 2 x 2 Gig sticks of Kingston ram, and replaced them with the 4 x 2 Gig Corsair Sticks listed in the spec below.

Replacing the ram did not resolve my issue so I thought it could be my HD, so I replaced my old 300Gb Maxtor HD with a new 1Tb WD drive, did a clean install of Windows 7 64-Bit.

Again this did not resolve my issue, I have since tried running one stick of ram in different ports on the MB, one graphics card rather than two and still have not found the cause of the problem.

One of the things I find strange about this issue is that it appears to be corrupting files on my HD, I play eve online and am unable to run the game as it says the client has become corrupted and the repair tool will not work, meaning once again I have to download the client.

Currently I am thinking its possibly my MB is faulty or the Processor which are the only two things left..... neither of which I can easily replace / test.

I have update my MB bios to the latest version and have update all Nvidia drivers from the Nvidia site.

Please also find last few crash dumps from C:\Windows\Minidump attached.

Thanks a lot for any help with this...

Hello,

I suggest that you run Prime95: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-cpu-stress-test-prime95.html

Be sure to keep an eye on Speedfan.

Finally, where did you get your copy of Windows 7?

If the BSODs persist, please upload a full BSOD report for us: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

What kinda of temperatues should I be expecting ?, I just had another BSOD and the CPU was at around 54C, I wouldn't of said this was high but the little flame icon in SpeedFan makes me think it might be?

The temperature is steadily coming down.

Thanks,

Rick

54 is quite normal. The flame icon means that Speedfan would try to lower the temperature, if it was set to be able to control fan speed.

Was that with Prime95 running?

Prime 95 running for over an hour CPU Temp 50C, System 51C GPU 57C.

When the BSOD occured earlier the temperature was higher than it is now, not sure why though CPU was no where near 100%.

I'm going to leave Prime 95 running while at work tomorrow, If that passes ok I'll start testing the memory on the days after 1 stick at a time while at work.

Going to be slow to do it all but it'll get done.

Tested one of the four sticks of RAM today, ran for approx 8 hours and a big screen of red errors when I arrived home from work, tried the same stick in a different slot and got errors again, tested a different stick in one of the slots that gave me errors with the previous stick and no errors (not a long test this time but still).

Not sure why I didn't get errors last time I ran memtest86, possibly I was testing them altogether?

The other thing that worries me is that this is very new RAM, bought to try replace old ram that gave me errors in memtest86, surely the odds of me getting new faulty ram to replace old faulty ram is very slim? and if so could it be my MB or something else in my PC breaking the RAM.

I suspect you just have a bad stick. It sounds like this is just a coincidence, although if the new RAM you get starts erroring too, we can start wondering if something is damaging the RAM.
