I have posted once before but will try again. From what I have seen...most of you guys should be on Windows payroll and THANK YOU in advance for your Win 7 wisdom and insight.

I had this computer built to record. I use Presonus Studio Project via firewire. I get so many BSODs that I am thinking of the Peace Corps to regain some Karma due to the fits (and expletives).
Sometimes the error just says STOP.....(gives location) but generally its NV7ddmmk (this is approximate) that was in your other thread. The thing is, my minidump folder is empty despite showing nearly 1.2 GIG (yes gig) in user error reporting files.
Is there someone who can help me use this computer once and for all?
All i have loaded is the Presonus files and Aceshigh (flight Sim game) which also only works about 35% of the time.
Any suggestions? Please?

God Bless You All regardless of anything you can or cannot do to help. Just the evidence of so much straight talk and REAL solutions is encouraging.

Peace,

Kingkudzu

Hi Kingkudzu,

A few things for you to try -

*** If the Minidump folder is empty, check to confirm that your system is configured to create a minidump.

*** If you find a memory.dmp file in C:\Windows, we can analyze that too. Due to its size, you will need to upload it to a third-party site such as MegaUpload or RapidShare.

*** You can search for *.dmo.

See how you go.
