Solved BSOD and Stop Errors Becoming More Frequent

Has a dump been created with the crash?

I can't remember the stop code, and recently all the BSOD's I've been getting say: 'KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR' and then at the bottom it says: 'Initializing disk for crash dump ...' and no matter how long I leave it, it never makes a dump.

   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

BStuart96, if you would, please uninstall Bullguard. This will tell you how Uninstall BullGuard Desktop Protection - Uninstall - BullGuard. Once uninstalled, Please install Microsoft Security Essentials (Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows)

Also, please check for any Firmware updates for your SSD. See if that makes a difference.

I also know you ran memtest. Did you follow these instructions, especially where you downloaded from?

Also, please go into bios and tell me what bios version you have installed. The latest version is 2501 (P8Z77-V LX2 | Motherboards | ASUS UK)

Please Run Memtest86+​

   Information

Please download from this site only http://www.memtest.org/ in the middle of the page are the Download links, you can download the ISO.zip or the Auto USB Flash Drive installer.zip

Extract the Zip file. If you chose the ISO image, burn it to a CD using Windows Disk Image Burner or any Image burner you may have. If you downloaded the Auto USB installer, extract it, insert your USB 2.0 Flash Drive and take note of the drive letter. Run the installer, select the Flash Drive Letter, check the format box and press next. It will install memtest86+ to a flash drive. You can use either V4.20 or V5.01. Boot from your selected media. If you use V5.01 it will tell you to press certain buttons at the start, please press no buttons. The test will begin on it's own and continue to run until you stop it. It needs to run for 8 complete passes or until you receive an error. If you receive an error, stop the test. Even 1 error is a fail. Each pass tests a different part of the ram and each of the 10 tests in each pass tests something different. It takes a minimum of 8 passes to completely test the ram, more passes are better. It is quite a long test and will take several hours depending on how much ram you have. Due to the time length it is best to run overnight. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Okay I've uninstalled Bullguard and installed MSE, I'll have a look for any firmware updates now.

Yes I'm fairly confident I used that site and followed those instructions.

There are 2 tests, memtest86 and memtest86+. The names are very close, but the memtest86+ test is much better. You may have missed it, but I had edited my post above asking for you BIOS version too. I don't know if you missed that.

Yes it was MemTest86+ I used. My firmware is up to date.

Okay I updated my BIOS, no problems. I should point out as well, I haven't had any BSOD's or stop error's since the MemTest, I'll keep you updated if I get any more.

Crashes in safe mode and lack of minidump files would indicate something serious possibly hardware related but I get the feeling its going to be an endless circle.

Axe0 has advised you well and run through most obvious things and conducted all the required hardware tests, I would run through the few remaining bits that steve suggested A/V, bios update then bios settings check after update and run machine for a while and if problems continue to persist I think I would disconnect the SSD and run a vanilla install on either your new or old HDD just for testing purposes to see if crashes persist
You don't need to activate it and WU will work

Yeah, I'm very grateful for everyone's help, I understand how difficult it must be to troubleshoot with limited dump files. The bios has updated successfully and I'll continue using my PC as normal, then if I have another issue, I'll be sure to follow your advice.
