Can I use my RTM serial on RC1?

I bought windows 7 ultimate 64bit and my COD5 keeps crashing and then I have to restart cause everything is corrupted.
Everything elase seems ok but I play COD every day.
I restored my RC1 image and all is back to normal but it will run out.
can i enter the RTM key and keep 7100 cause it dont crash COD5?

Why did you upgrade the build? Do a clean install of 7 and the problem will go away.

The RC is timebombed to shut down every two hours 3/1 and stop working 6/1.

Did you boot from the DVD to do a Custom install using Drive Options to format first?

Try that. If you did, then try again.

After that, try running the installer from RC to install over itself.

As a last resort you can also in-place Upgrade. It isn't recommended for RC but so many have done it successfully that it can be tried as an option. There is a workaround to get it to work here. Read the part at the bottom about RC, since you are using the same version.
